Celebrate THC State Historic Sites Free Day on May 6
In celebration of National Preservation Month and Texas Travel and Tourism Week, the THC will offer free admission to state historic sites on Sunday, May 6. From military strongholds to house museums, plantations, and American Indian settlements, these historic sites offer visitors the opportunity to truly experience the real places of Texas and the stories they preserve.
Several of the THC’s sites are currently undergoing renovations or restorations, so check the site’s homepage to ensure it is open.
