The Lake Conroe water level is currently at 200.87′ and is expectedto reach normal pool elevation of 201.00′ within the next day or two.In the last 24 hours, the watershed has received an average of 1.70″ of rain, but over the past seven days, the area received an average of 4.19″ of rain. Based on the final rainfall totals for this event, lake operators do not expect to have to make any releases from the dam.
SJRA staff are continuing to coordinate on weather and operational updates with our partners in the region, including the National Weather Service, the City of Houston, the Coastal Water Authority, the Harris County Flood Control District, and emergency management personnel from Harris and Montgomery counties.
