Texans for Fiscal Responsibility has endorsed Keith Strahan in the open-seat election for Texas House District 18.
“Keith Strahan is a principled, commonsense conservative who will fight for taxpayers in the Texas House,” said TFR’s president, Michael Quinn Sullivan. “Keith Strahan is the kind of serious, reform-minded conservative that Texans want in public office. He can be counted on to put his constituents ahead of the Austin establishment.”
Raised in Liberty, Texas, Strahan is a former school teacher and youth pastor whose law practice has focused on helping small businesses and start-ups.
House District 18 is currently represented by John Otto (R-Dayton), who announced this summer he would not be seeking re-election.
Texans for Fiscal Responsibility (www.EmpowerTexans.com) is the largest grassroots organization in the state focused on state and local fiscal and governance policy issues. Endorsements are made in consultation with advisors, subscribers and supporters in each district.
“Texans are looking for reform-minded, no-nonsense candidates willing to fight for their constituents rather than serve the corrupt crony-culture of Austin,” added Sullivan. “Taxpayers in House District 18 are supporting Keith Strahan, and we’re excited to stand alongside them.”
Keith Strahan is a native of Liberty County and is an active grassroots leader in the district. Keith practices corporate and business law and represents small and medium businesses throughout Southeast Texas. For more information, please visit www.strahanfortexas.com.
