Local Republican candidates planning to run for office in the upcoming March 2018 primary election have begun their campaign filings. Saturday, November 11th was the first day for most candidates to file; those running for precinct chair could file as early as September.
According to local GOP Chair Linda McKenzie, candidates that have filed to run in the Republican Party primary as of late Friday afternoon are:

The filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in the upcoming primary is Monday, December 11th at 6:00 PM.
