Early Voting Begins in Walker County

Extra voting location and extended hours for Walker County voters

by Walker County News Today staff

Early voting for the November 8th general election opened today in Walker County and throughout the state.

Local voters have two choices for early voting locations this week:  the courthouse annex building located on Sam Houston Avenue or the storm shelter located on Hwy 75 North.  While the annex location was busy today, there were far fewer voters at the new storm shelter location.  A total of 1,278 votes were cast on Monday.
