Obituary for Ray J. Dupree

Retired Chevron Terminal Manager, active in Lake Livingston community

Services will be conducted Tuesday, Feb. 5 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas Catholic Church for Ray J. Dupree. Burial will take place at Brookside Cemetery Houston at 3:00 pm.

Mr. Dupree was born March 3, 1930 to parents Paul and Harriett Dupree in Texas City. He died Jan. 29, 2019.

He retired from Chevron, U.S.A. after 34 years of devoted service. He was Manager of Chevron Marine Terminal on the Houston Ship Channel. Ray retired to Westwood Shores on Lake Livingston and was active in the community. He was a loyal member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus #13136.

In 2002, Ray married Betty Reich and in 2013, they moved to Carriage Inn- Huntsville.

Ray is survived by his loving wife Betty, his daughter, Suzanne Landman (Bill); step sons: Gary (Kathy), Terry (Bena), Kelly (Vanessa) Reich and step grandchildren he loved dearly; Heather, William, Brandon, Chris, Joey, and Erica Reich. Also surviving are his sister in law Marilyn Sims and nieces and nephews.

The family thanks all the clergy and friends for your prayers and love.
