A celebration of life service will be Feb. 23 at 11:00am at Riverside First Methodist Church, 2341 FM 980 Rd., Riverside, TX for Keton Lee Dunkerley, who died Jan. 29, 2019 surrounded by his wife and family.
He was born in Corpus Christi, TX on Sept. 29, 1941. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ann, a brother, Bo, a sister Dee and a daughter, Karen. He is survived by his wife, Jan, a brother, Roland, and a sister, Lynn, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In his younger life, Keton had a successful career as a commercial shrimper on the Texas and Louisiana coasts. In midlife, he became interested in stainless steel and he became an expert stainless steel fabricator working many years for Custom Kitchens until retiring to the lake. He and Jan enjoyed many hours of fishing and gardening.
About a year ago Keton’s heath began to decline and the last several months have seen him steadily weaken. His faith remained strong and he peacefully joined those who have gone before him.
