Obituary for Elizabeth Jeanne Steed Kellam

Services will be conducted Thursday, Jan. 31, 11 a.m.,at First United Methodist Church, 1016 Sam Houston Ave., Huntsville, For Elizabeth Jeanne Steed Kellam, 90.

She died Saturday, Jan. 19 as a result of Alzheimer’s.

She was born to Ben Steed and Lonnie Mae Blakeway in Kennard, Texas on February 27, 1928. Jeanne will be lovingly remembered and missed by her husband of 69 years, Kendall Ames Kellam and their children, Charlotte Twardowski (Larry), Wayne Kellam (Carolyn Ann), Carolyn Bruce and John Christian. Her eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren will also fondly remember her. Jeanne is also survived by her brother Jack Steed and a host of family and friends who will miss her greatly.

She was predeceased by her daughter Marilyn Christian, her sister Nell Brister, and her parents.

At a later date, a private interment will take place at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Houston, Texas.
