Sheriff’s Office Makes Arrest in New Waverly

Burglary charges filed

On Wednesday, February 27th at 3:33 a.m., Walker County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to a burglary in progress in the 300 block of SH 150 in New Waverly, TX. Upon arrival Deputies met with complainant.

While on scene, Deputies observed a male subject, standing by a maroon Nissan truck on the property. Subsequent to searching the suspect’s vehicle, tools believed to have been used in the crime were located in his possession. The suspect did confess to unlawfully breaking into a coin operating machine on location. After conducting the investigation, 32 year old Brandon Graham was arrested for Burglary of a Coin Operating Machine and Criminal Mischief. Graham is currently being held at the Walker County Jail on a $6,500.00 bond.
