HISD Athletics Partners With HMH–Sports Medicine To Offer HHS & MPMS Athletes Free Sports Physicals
Wednesday, April 15, 2015 (Huntsville)
On Tuesday, May 19, 2015, student athletes at Huntsville High School and Mance Park Middle School will be offered FREE Sports Physicals for the upcoming school year. Each year, student athletes must complete required UIL paperwork, Huntsville ISD Medical information, and have a current physical on file prior to participating in any sport.
Head Football Coach, Rodney Southern and Head Athletic Trainer, Brian Parker are organizing this event in partnership with Huntsville Memorial Hospital-Sports Medicine to provide the necessary physicals at no charge to our student athletes. The goal this year is to have every current and incoming athlete get their required physical during the May 19th event as well as complete and submit all the necessary paperwork.
A letter along with the medical history and physical evaluation papers will be sent home with all athletes prior to the event. HISD Athletics asks that parents/guardians help complete the information and promptly return the paperwork to your child’s coach or bring it in the day of the physical.
May 19th Schedule of events:
7:45 AM – 9:30 AM – HHS Football & Boys Basketball
9:45 AM – 11:30 AM – MPMS Athletics (Football, Volleyball, Cross Country, Basketball, Track, Swim, Tennis & Golf)
