Annual Sam Houston Folk Festival Returns

Locals and Tourists expected to enjoy annual festival this weekend.

We have a lot to be proud of in Huntsville. The General Sam Houston Folk Festival (May 1st, 2nd, 3rd) is the time and the place for us to come together to celebrate our most beloved citizen, Sam Houston. There is no better setting than the 15 acre grounds of the Sam Houston Memorial Museum. It’s a laid back atmosphere with plenty of shade trees, where visitors and townsfolk can listen to live music, watch some historical reenactors, chat with old friends, share some homemade root beer, and let the kids run and play. Dates: Friday, May 1st; Saturday, May 2nd; and Sunday, May 3rd. Admission is only $5 per day for Adults (13 and up); $3 per day for Children (4-12); and Children 3 and under are free.
