The very first Prison City Film Festival is quickly approaching, so organizers and attendees will be out and about in Huntsville from February 28 to March 4. As many of the participants are visitors to our great city, residents are asked to take time to tidy up and show pride in our community, as well as share the warm welcome for which we are known!
The Prison City Film Festival will feature 67 new films including documentaries, shorts, and independent works. The multi-day event will kick off at 8:30 a.m. on March 1 at the Old Town Theatre, located at 1023 12th Street. Ticket prices vary and are available online at www.prisoncityfilmfestival.com.
The Prison City Film Festival is sponsored in part by the City of Huntsville Department of Tourism and Cultural Services, the Huntsville Arts Commission, the Wynne Home Arts and Visitors Center, Old Town Theatre, Wish Wash Car Wash, Smither Co. Real Estate, and McNease Drugs.
