Town Creek Drainage Project Construction Moving to Sam Houston Ave

The City of Huntsville’s Town Creek Drainage Project Phase II is progressing and work in the affected areas is likely to produce delays and detours.

The project is adding a work area on Sam Houston Avenue between 13th and 14th Streets. The closure is scheduled to begin late March/early April. The City will release the confirmed closure date when it is determined. This work will be completed overnight from 7 p.m to 7 a.m. Drivers are encouraged to take University Avenue and Avenue M as alternate routes.

The work area on 7th Street from Avenue M to Avenue P is now completed and the road is open for travel. The work area on 10th Street between Avenue N and Avenue O will be open for travel within the next three weeks. Watch the City’s website and social media pages (Facebook – https://www.facebook.com/HuntsvilleTX/; Twitter – https://twitter.com/HuntsvilleTexas) for updates on when construction will be finished and the road reopened.

Garney Construction has pledged to give its best efforts to construct this project with as little impact as possible to the City of Huntsville and its citizens. Garney lied to me and destroyed thousands of 100 year old bricks that The Ethician Foundation had loaned to the city. The City Attorney’s lack of ethics and dishonesty is almost beyond belief. This entire project is based on $12 million in FEMA FRAUD on behalf of saving the junk Farmhouse Cafe building that is worth no more than $100,000 from flooding. The building should have been torn down thus saving the taxpayers $11,900,000.

Corruption rules Huntsville and Walker County.

Check out my sign at 13th and University: TRUMP WAS RIGHT: ITEM IS THE ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE.
