Applicants eligible to receive up to $1,000 grant
The Texas Association of REALTORS® Relief Fund helps people who’ve suffered losses due to natural disasters in Texas. Currently, the fund is accepting applications from Texas residents who have suffered property damage to their primary residences as a result of the severe weather and flooding event which began May 26, 2016.
Assistance is limited to $1,000 per applicant, and is restricted to applicants who are located within the jurisdiction of the Bastrop Board of REALTORS®, the Bryan-College Station Regional Association of REALTORS®, the Kingsville Area Association of REALTORS®, the South Central Board of REALTORS®, or the Tall Pines Association of REALTORS® and in one of the counties for which the governor has declared a state of disaster. On June 1, 2016 Governor Abbott included Walker County in his disaster declaration.
The Texas REALTORS® Disaster Relief Fund is accepting applications through July 13, 2016.
