TDCJ Cancels Volunteer Services at Multiple Units due to Flooding

On Friday the Texas Department of Criminal Justice sent out notices that volunteer activities on the following units are cancelled this weekend for the following units:

• Clemens
• Wynne
• Eastham
• Polunsky
• Ferguson
• Goree
• Jester – I
• Vance
• Jester – III
• Michael
• Stiles
• Darrington
• Hightower
• Powledge
• Stringfellow
• Terrell
• Ramsey

Volunteers were notified via email that, due to anticipated flooding over the weekend, all volunteer activities for the affected units were cancelled through Monday, June 6th.  Volunteers are encouraged to contact unit administration prior to their next visit.
