Mayor Andy Brauninger urges residents to serve others this coming Monday. January 15 will be celebrated as this year’s Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service, established by Congress in 1994. Citizens across the country will participate in volunteer projects on this day.
“Martin Luther King, Jr. Day is a very appropriate occasion for all of us to see how we can help others,” Brauninger said. “I hope everyone will take some time to share their time and efforts in our community.”
