Huntsville Library Hosting Game Design Workshop

The Huntsville Public Library is offering teens the opportunity to design a game show, following the Jeopardy format, on Wednesdays.
Teens meet at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at the library, where they are asked to put their game designer skills to the test.
“We are providing the Makey Makey kit and software necessary to design the game,” said Asst. City Librarian Anne Sparks. “The kids learn out to design the buttons used for the buzzers, create the questions and so much more.”
Teens will continue to meet on Wednesdays through July 13th.
“All their hard work will culminate into a Quiz Night on July 15th,” Sparks said.
The Quiz night will start at 5:30 p.m. in the community room of the library. This event is open to the public.  Teams must have a minimum of three players and a maximum of six players.
“We invite the public to participate in the fun and see all the hard work these teens are putting in,” Sparks said.
