Below are the results of the Huntsville Health Department’s November 2014 Routine Health Inspections.  The November information is the most recent available on the City of Huntsville’s website.

1. Chilis Bar & Grill ( 123 I-45 North)   Score: 45

  • Improper cooling.
  • Improper cold hold .
  • Cook not washing hands after touching face.
  • Employee food observed on top of prep table.
  • Cook observed handling hair with gloves on.
  • Improper use of a handsink.
  • Food stored inside coolers without lids or proper covers.
  • Expired container of black beans and date mark stickers not legible to read.
  • Back handsink meat washing station without hot water at a minimum of 100 degrees.
  • Many flies observed inside kitchen area.
  • Improper labeling of chemical spray bottles.
  • Bar sanitizer too strong.
  • Improper plumbing of ice machine.
