Huntsville Public Library Offering GED Classes

The Huntsville Public Library will host free GED classes from noon to 4 p.m. each Saturday in May and June. The classes will be taught by Lone Star College staff.

Students are required to attend Orientation (10 a.m. to 1 p.m.) and Testing (2 to 5 p.m.) on Thursday, May 4 in order to enroll.

Students 19 years and older should bring with them a valid government-issued photo ID. Students 18 years of age, in addition to the ID, need a self-consent form, a parental consent form, and a withdrawal form from their previous institution. Class dates are: May 6, 13, 20 and June 3, 10, 17, and 24. The Library will be closed onSaturday, May 27.
