Huntsville ISD Board Seeks Community Input

Public forum, online survey for superintendent search process

by HISD staff

The Huntsville Independent School District Board of Trustees has employed DRV Executive Search Services to conduct the superintendent search process for the school district. The Board has requested that school personnel and the public be involved in developing the profile for the next Superintendent of Schools.

Citizens are invited to attend a Community Input Meeting on Monday, October 16, 2017, at 6:30 PM in the Hawkins Administration Building Boardroom, 441 FM 2821 East, Huntsville. Overflow parking will be available in the front west parking lot of Huntsville High School. DRV’s representatives Dale Dixon and Rudy Okruhlik, both former HISD Superintendents, will facilitate the meeting to provide interested district stakeholders the opportunity to give valuable input on the qualities and characteristics the Board should seek when hiring the new superintendent for Huntsville ISD.

The Huntsville ISD Board encourages all members of the community to attend and share their thoughts and insights. Citizens are also invited to participate in the electronic survey that has been posted on the district website at www.huntsville-isd.org. The online survey will remain open until 5:00 PM on Friday, October 20, 2017. If you have questions about the search process, please contact Administration at (936) 435-6300.
